Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy

Who can use Denger Nodes

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must handle payment and agree to these terms on your behalf.

• One account per person, unless staff approves otherwise
• You're responsible for keeping your login and panel access secure
• You're responsible for all activity under your account, authorized or not

What you can't run on our infrastructure

Your VPS, Minecraft server, or any other Denger Nodes service may not be used for:

• Illegal activity — hacking, phishing, malware/ransomware, carding, fraud
• DDoS attacks, port scanning, or disrupting other networks
• Operating or joining a botnet
• Cryptocurrency mining, unless your plan explicitly allows it
• Spam, unsolicited bulk email, or spam infrastructure
• Pirated software or DMCA-violating content
• NSFW, illegal, or extremist material
• Resource abuse that degrades service for others on shared nodes
• Reselling allocated resources without an approved reseller agreement

Server-specific terms

• You're responsible for the plugins and mods you install — we're not liable for crashes or data loss they cause
• No reselling server resources without an official reseller plan
• We don't provide free automatic backups by default — see Section 07
• Support covers setup, panel use, and basic troubleshooting — not custom plugin debugging or mod conflict resolution

Server-specific terms

• Root/admin access means you own security — updates, firewall, passwords, SSH keys
• We're not liable for damage or breaches from misconfiguration or negligence
• Resource limits (CPU, RAM, disk I/O, bandwidth) apply per plan
• Sustained abuse on shared plans may lead to throttling or suspension

How payment works

Services bill on the cycle you selected at purchase. Invoices are due on the billing date, with a grace period of [X days] before suspension.

All sales are final

Denger Nodes does not offer refunds on any hosting plan, add-on, license, or service once purchased — regardless of usage or reason for cancellation. Review your plan carefully before buying. Promotional and discounted plans are non-refundable under any circumstance.

Your data, your responsibility

We don't automatically back up Minecraft or VPS data under standard plans.

• Maintain your own independent backup routine
• Or purchase the Paid Backup Add-On for automated, scheduled backups

We're not liable for data loss from a lack of backups, with or without the add-on, except where we've been proven negligent in fulfilling a purchased backup service.

Best effort, no SLA

All hosting is provided on a best-effort basis. We don't guarantee a specific uptime percentage and don't offer a formal SLA unless stated in writing for a specific plan. We work to minimize downtime, but no compensation, credit, or refund is owed for interruptions.

What we collect and keep

• We collect account info needed to provide and bill for services: name, email, IP, payment details
• We don't access or monitor server/VPS content except to investigate AUP violations, abuse reports, or at your request for support
• Data is permanently deleted [X days] after cancellation — export anything you want to keep before then

When we can shut things down

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any service, with or without notice, for:

• Violating the Acceptable Use Policy
• Non-payment after the grace period
• Abuse reports or third-party complaints
• Any activity we determine, at our discretion, risks our infrastructure, staff, or other clients

Termination for AUP violations or illegal activity is not eligible for a refund.

What we're on the hook for

We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost profits, lost data, business interruption — arising from use or inability to use our services. Where liability does apply, it's capped at the amount you paid for the specific service in the billing period the issue occurred.

What support covers

• Available via our Discord server
• Covers account, billing, infrastructure issues, and general setup guidance
• Doesn't cover custom development or debugging client-installed software
• Target response time: [e.g. within 24 hours]

We may update this policy

Denger Nodes may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be announced via [email / Discord / site banner].
